WILD BIHAR is a registered non-for-profit trust, dedicated and committed to preserve, protect and conserve the wildlife of Bihar (a state in North India). 

 

Education and outreach are perhaps the most appropriate tools to sensitize people and prepare future generations to the need

The core objectives of the trust is to provide support to Bihar's protected areas to strengthen their protection mechanism; improve the living conditions ; improve livelihood options of the front line field staff and people living in and around protected areas through skill training and education interventions and spread awareness regarding wildlife and habitat conservation through campaigns & projects.

It is currently working closely in two States: Bihar & Jharkhand.of conservation and habitat protection. Some of the most successful conservation campaigns in Bihar & Jharkhand have been run by WILD BIHAR.

We have so far educated 2500+ school kids, 100 CRPF Jawans, 700+ Villagers, 45+ Teachers and 70+ Forest Department Staffs through our Snakebite Mitigation Project.
