Kusheshwar Asthan Bird Sanctuary

Kusheshwar Asthan Bird Sanctuary, spreading over 7019.75 acres is a unification of 14 waterlogged villages situated in Kusheshwarasthan block which comes under Biraul sub-division of Darbhanga region. These villages (in combined) have been declared as Kusheshwarasthan Bird Sanctuary due to ecological, geographical, faunal, floral and natural importance of the whole area.

Darbhanga is located in Gangetic plains of Mithilanchal in North Bihar. The city is well known for its art, culture and literal traditions.
